Many attractions are available to the visitor to Hervey Bay.

Hervey Bay RSL Carols by Candlelight - Seafront Oval, Pialba Saturday 14 December

5.30pm to 8.30pm

RSL Picnic in the Park - Hervey Bay - Freedom Park, Main St, Pialba

Christmas Day - no need to be alone on Christmas day; lunch starts at 12 noon

For the young at heart the "WetsSde Water Park" run by Wide Bay Water offers a refreshing way to spend the warm summer days - best of all entry into WetSide is free but there is a cost for the Water Slides and FlipSide Board Rider

Annually we have a Multi Cultural Festival before Easter and the Whale Festival in August.

Our two Sailing Clubs have Regattas at Easter and Xmas/New Year.

The annual Bay to Bay Yacht Race (Tin Can bay to Hervey bay) draws competitors from far and wide.

The local amateur theatre group (The Zpac Theatre) put on regular performances and these are always enjoyable.

Each Thursday, markets are held in nearby Maryborough, and each Sunday in Hervey Bay

A visit to the Hervey Bay Historical Village and Museum in Zephyr Street worthwhile.

Reef World Aquarium at Urangan (Dayman Park) - see many of the area's tropical fish up close in an all natural aquarium, using only sand filtered sea water and natural sunlight.  Why not pop next door to the Waterfront Restaurant where you have enviable views of the World Heritage Listed FraserIsland, the famous Urangan Pier and Hervey Bay's waters
